As intelligent nationbuilders, we must be willing to openly admit that the western educational system is doing exactly what it was designed to do to our children. It is killing their curiosity and will to think independently, while corrupting their truth with perverted, abnormal cultural imperatives. In reality, it is no more than another form of child molestation.

If we are to save our children from this maddening diseducation, how we educate our children and what they come to know as truth must revert to what worked for our Ancestors. What does this require It requires educational institutions that work for us, here and now, molded from the minds of our Ancestors. It requires schools, good schools, especially for our youth, spatially and politically separate from european and negro public and private institutions, without ties to them or their curriculum. It requires teachers, better yet, healing educators willing to submit to the sacrifice of dedicating their lives to an Afrikan future. It requires specialized, ever-expanding Afrikan centered curricula, textbooks and reading materials designed to satisfy our children’s unique needs. Equally important, it requires supporters, investors, donors committed (whether secretly or not) to subsidize this intergenerational educational initiative.

Clarity requires insight and foresight. Specifically for our Warriors, clarity requires a sound, politically-grounded, spiritually, intellectually and emotionally deep memory of us as a people. Our ability to interpret everything through knowledgeable Afrikan eyes will assist us in gaining a thoroughly realistic, functional interpretation of the reality in which we exist. Above all, our sight must be refined to the point where we are able to progressively visualize positive possibilities for our people based on who we have always been as well as the many obstructions strewn across the path to our sovereignty. We must begin to seriously involve ourselves in the process of becoming historically and ourstorically clear about our mission as Warriors. In doing so, we must never overlook the fact that there are worldviews, ways that politically interpret all of reality, at play. Regardless, our worldview must be one that is uncompromising in its penetration into our people’s and other nations’ ways and the why behind how things work between us and them. We must firmly grasp and permanently adopt this Warrior’s outlook as a way of thinking and interpreting reality. If not, we will remain unable to truly understand the nature of what must be overcome in order for us to successfully move Afrikan people toward a solvent sovereignty. This DVD set is the second part of that discussion as taken from a selection of essays in the second half of the book Clarity by Mwalimu K. Bomani Baruti.

IWA DVD Set

No nation can stand as a principled, honorable power without the sense and strength of its traditional convictions. And no people, determined to be independent, empowered and sovereign, can build and progressively maintain itself without a motivated, diligent, disciplined, respectful, knowledgeable warrior class who considers itself duty bound to defend the name and secure the existence of their people. At the heart of every decisive warrior class we have produced, we find this IWA, these virtuous qualities and an enduring strength of mind which reflect good character at the deepest psychological and spiritual levels. To be of good character, to possess IWA, our warriors must know how to think, speak and act as our Ancestors have. Above all else, this requires that there be no contradiction between these three manifestations of consciousness. Still, warriors have to recognize that this is an evolutionary process within. Developing good character takes both righteous instruction and ample time for the seeker to become one with it. Our Ancestors, and those who have continued their movement along the revolutionary, nationbuilding path, have already given us these warrior’s rules through their words and examples. They have left us an abundantly rich tradition of warriorhood. Through them, we can easily see what constitutes good character among warriors. What they have given the new vanguard is a dynamic, balanced way of thinking and living which offers loving guidance in their pursuit of good character on the home front as well as battlefields in this anti-Afrikan reality. This lecture series is an examination of that character and the methods for building it.

Complementarity Course DVD Set

The couple is the bedrock of the nation. Without it there is no family, no people. Without couples there can be no family to procreate and rear confident, untroubled, anchored children. No viable, community-respecting generation can be born to continue the process of life, living, building and defending. Afrikan couples must be whole, individually and as one. They must be able to trust themselves and each other implicitly. And that is what makes it imperative that we carefully choose our mates for Afrikan reasons. We must choose with vision. In fact, it is just the opposite. We are soldiers in love with forming beautiful families; rearing happy, thinking children; building strong, lasting communities; raising a mighty nation and removing all enemies. This course is an in-depth Afrikan centered discussion of the requirements of Afrikan manhood. In it, Baruti clearly lays out our sources of power and the tools that must be acquired, mastered and used if we are to reclaim our correct role as warrior scholars in the battle to provide safe, sacred and empowering spaces for our families and communities. It gives specific consciousness raising guidelines for our nationbuilding effort, weeding out those compromising ideas and forces which have kept us confused over whether we want to be powerful or just influential in this world. The Asafo course is a very important tool in Afrikan men’s efforts to help ReAfrikanize our people. There is a strong emphasis on building functional educational institutions, developing a dynamic sense of group-consciousness through elevating one’s self-consciousness, male rites of passage programs and a warrior’s mental preparation. In addition, students are taken through the difficult process of growing from being merely other-directed, apathetic individual consumers to powerful, mission-directed men in thought, word and deed.
